Electrical safety inspections in Barcelona
An electrical inspection finds hidden problems early: loose connections, overheating cables, wrongly sized protection devices or a missing earth.
We check the fuse box, circuits, sockets and earthing, measure insulation resistance and test that RCDs and circuit breakers work. Afterwards you receive a report with our findings and recommended improvements.
Frequently asked questions
How often should an installation be inspected?
For a home, every few years is advisable, and always when buying or renting an older property or if you notice faults. Some commercial premises and car parks also have mandatory periodic inspections under the REBT.
What does the inspection include?
A visual check of the fuse box and circuits, RCD testing, earth and insulation measurements, a check of sockets and light points, and a final report.
Does the inspection count as an electrical certificate?
No, the inspection is a diagnosis. If you need an official document, we will tell you whether a CIE or a BRIE applies and handle it for you.
How long does it take?
For a typical flat it usually takes a few hours. For shops or buildings it depends on the size of the installation.
